The County Ground Beckenham will play host to the 2018 BBS Primary Club Heindrich Swanepoel Memorial Cup Final when London Metro face Sussex Sharks on Saturday 1st September.

The recently redeveloped first class ground which has a capacity of 10,000 regularly plays host to Kent County Cricket Club especially in limited overs cricket, with Kent playing several One Day Cup & T20 Blast matches there in 2018. The ground also hosted a 4 day match between West Indies A & India A in July.

As The Primary Club were founded at Beckenham Cricket Club it’s very appropriate that the 40th edition of the competition will conclude in the town.

Dave Gavrilovic, Acting Chairman of British Blind Sport & Vice Chairman of Blind Cricket England & Wales, said:
“We are extremely grateful to Ben Green from Kent County Cricket Club & his team at Beckenham for agreeing to host our final this year. The location is excellent considering the teams who’ve qualified for the final & I’m sure everyone will enjoy playing at such a superb venue.”.

Play starts at 1pm and entry is free.
