01/12/2006 The Primary Club Casuals try their luck indoorsCaptain’s pub quiz scores £240Euan Spence, the captain of the Primary Club Casuals, organised a pub quiz that has raised over £240 for The Primary Club. The quiz held in a London pub was packed out with over 70 people as 11 teams gathered to pit their wits against quizmasters Euan and supporter Ross Rogers. Each team member paid to take part in the quiz which covered a range of general knowledge topics from current affairs to sport. A prize was awarded to the winning team with a special ‘good sport’ award to the team with the fewest points "Most people like a good pub quiz and judging by the feedback this just goes to show that fundraising can be great fun without being too much hard work," said Euan . "We were able to include questions regarding blind sport to help educate people about the work of the Primary Club so in addition to raising funds we were also able to spread the word and hopefully recruit supporters in the long term. We’ll definitely do this again once people have had a chance to swot up now they know what categories we cover!." If you’d like to do something similar, Euan’s quiz will be available to download from the website soon.
